By default, most VPS hosting accounts are unmanaged. This means outside of the basic support that we provide anything extra will be charged on a per occurrence basis.
Basic Support covers:
- Billing questions.
- Root password resets.
- Reverse DNS changes.
- The hardware node, which is the server on which your VPS account, is placed.
- Configuration changes that are done on the hardware node.
- Access with such problems as inability to login to your account SSH or otherwise.
- Freeing up space if vps becomes 100% full (must be guided by customer and told what to remove to free up space)
Non Basic Support:
- Troubleshooting or configuration of any software
- Issues related with performance or uptime of a VPS account or application.
- Installation of applications
- General assistance with Linux or core system services
- Third-party control panel installation, configuration or troubleshooting
The rate currently charged for anything in the "Non Basic Support" section is / will be billed at $75/hr. If you wish to obtain a quote for work that needs to be done, please submit a support ticket.
